Terrence Meck – Executive Director
Terrence Meck is the Executive Director of The Palette Fund, a private foundation that honors the legacy of his late partner Rand Harlan Skolnick through collaborative grant making and programs that value human rights and education. Since its inception in 2009, the Palette Fund has granted more than $2.5 million in the areas of Queer youth, Patient Navigation and Nutrition and Wellness. Terrence is also President of Intrinsic Capital, a real estate investment firm based in New York City. From 2003 to 2008, Terrence and Rand co-owned The Raven Resort Properties in New Hope, PA, providing a vibrant resource for the diverse community. Prior to that he worked in public relations in both the publishing and fashion industries. Terrence currently serves on the boards of the Movement Advancement Project, New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, God’s Love We Deliver, Queer Youth Fund, and the Harold P. Freeman Patient Navigation Institute. He received his B.A. in political science from Princeton University in 2000 and presently resides in New York City.
Ruth Fehr - Director of Nutrition and Wellness Programs

Ruth is a Chef, Culinary Consultant, and Teacher. She introduces people to the concept of health-supportive food and how to use it as a tool for health and healing. She has helped many people improve their health through proper nutrition, and helped others enjoy nourishing food while battling chronic diseases such as cancer. Ruth consults and does culinary lectures and demonstrations on behalf of Palette. Additionally, she works with private clients (as she did with Rand during his illness), public and private organizations teaching children the value and joy of healthy seasonal eating. She is also involved in the “Wellness in the School” program (WITS) whose mission is to help make NYC public school cafeteria food healthier. Ruth’s quest to use food as a tool for healing, which started 10+ years ago, led her to pursue her culinary training at Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts. She is also a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor. She studied Food Therapy with renowned food and health expert Annemarie Colbin, and Plant-Based Nutrition with T. Colin Campbell, author of The China Study.
